A common cliche among trans activists has been āIād rather have an alive daughter than a dead sonā - meaning theyād rather have a transgender daughter than a son who killed themselves because they weren't able to āaffirmā their identity.
Itās become the most popular way of guilt tripping parents into ignoring reality - yet thereās never been a shred of evidence for the premise.
The Supreme Court is currently hearing arguments on the Biden administrationās challenge to bans on child sex changes, and Chase Strangio, transgender attorney (female to male) is arguing against the ban.
During one exchange. Justice Alito pointed out that the Cass Report, a study commissioned by the UKās National Health Service, found no evidence that transgender care reduces suicide rates.
To that, Strangio was forced to admit that heās right - but still attempted to spin reality nonetheless. "There is no evidence in those studies that this treatment reduces completed suicide... There are multiple studies that do show there is a reduction in suicidality." In other words, Strangio is arguing that they donāt reduce suicides, but reduce people thinking about suicide.
