While his community is usually on par with the kind of nonsense you can expect to hear on The View, radio host Charlamagne did manage to get an amusing line in while appearing on that very show.
Charlamagne clashed with the hosts over Joe Bidenâs pardon of his son Hunter, asking them âWhy canât you say when Democrats are wrong?â noting that itâs a fair criticism considering Democrats claim to stand on the moral high ground all the time, and âact so self-righteous.â
âThe reality is, he didnât have to say anything in regards to whether or not his son wanted to be pardoned ⌠but since they were calling (President-elect Donald) Trump a threat to democracy and they were saying that nobody is above the law, but they were speaking about him, thatâs what they were running on,â he added.
After going back and forth on the topic, Charlamagne called out the hosts for having had to read numerous legal notices in recent weeks.
First, co-host Sara Haines challenged Charlamagneâs extremely obvious prediction that the news wouldnât report on Trump accurately in his next term. âNot even just cable news, no network. Nobody. Because they didn't do it before. So why would they do it now? Theyâre scared to death cause heâs the president of the United States of America.â
âWhat about us? What about us?â Behar replied, with Sunny Hostin chiming in âUm, have you watched The View?â
Then Charlamagne fired back; âWell, well, letâs be honest, Sunny, I saw you had to apologize a couple times last week so somebody is coming with some notes from downstairs.â
